Infor Decision Analytics and Science (IDEAS) team is responsible for setting the innovation strategy at Infor. We are a diverse, well-integrated, and customer-focused team of scientists, engineers, solution architects, application developers, and product/solution managers. We have an ambitious vision to enable enterprise Machine Learning (ML) for all Infor customers across multiple industries and segments. Our ever-evolving suite of industry-specific Augmented Intelligence (AI) spans across forecasting, pricing, inventory, optimization, and various recommendation systems providing rapid and measureable value to enterprise customers.


The development manager in IDEAS is the ‘execution engine’ to build and own the solution development release train coordinating with science solution manager, data engineering, ML scientists, customer enablement team and leadership. A successful candidate is expected to bring a high agency mindset with a passion for implementing scalable solutions serving IDEAS AI suite of solutions and customers, perform technical augmentation work (e.g., deployment activities), influence solutions roadmap and most importantly build and own a cadence-based release train.


A day in the life of a development project manager typically includes:

  • Build and own release trains by coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Lead agile ceremonies such as standup, sprint planning, retrospective and demo sessions.
  • Proactively mitigate risks and resolve issues.
  • Communicate release train progress to IDEAS.
  • Perform technical augment work such as simple performance tuning, deploy solutions and debug simple issues.
  • Understanding and influence roadmap by coordinating with science solution managers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, and Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of building program plans that spans more than one product/solution with multiple dependencies.
  • Proficient in JIRA – Creating and managing sprints, tracking time in JIRA, build insightful dashboards, generate reports, and draw insights to continuously improve the release train.
  • Knowledge on building AI/ML solutions/products.
  • A strong understanding for system design concepts/ principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product management background
  • Development background.
  • Experience in building scalable ERP solutions
