Opis i wymagania

The Regional Marketing Director will lead, create, manage and execute the regional marketing plan for the Japan region. 

The key goals for this role are to generate leads which build into opportunities and pipeline to support the required sales targets and growth for Infor’s Japan business. This person will also co-ordinate and maintain the integrated marketing plan for the region, ensuring a synchronized plan for building awareness and generating interest across regional marketing, PR/AR and all marketing tactics.   

The role reports into the APAC Marketing organisation.  This person will need to be a strong partner to the sub-regional General Manager and senior sales leaders in the region.  Strong collaboration with Sales and the broader worldwide marketing team will be essential.
  
Infor is seeking a person who combines strategic thinking with a hand-on approach to execution of marketing programs.  Someone who has extensive regional marketing experience, who can build and tactically execute plans, and has managed a field marketing demand generation team. The right candidate will have B2B enterprise software expertise (ideally SaaS/Cloud) and is a team player who knows how to influence, partner and get things done. You can easily balance taking a data driven, analytical approach to marketing with a more creative, innovative approach.  You would be known for strong delivery and getting results with an awareness of ROI.

Essential Duties
  • Strategic Partnership with Japan Leadership: Collaborating with the Japan leadership team to develop and implement go-to-market strategies, blending local market needs with broader global objectives. You will ensure that regional marketing plans align with sales and growth targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engaging with the APAC marketing leadership team and global marketing colleagues to ensure regional strategies are aligned and best practices are shared across geographies. Exemplify the positive attributes of being a team player and team builder with all related personnel, cross-functional departments and local and global counter parts
  • Customer Segmentation & Insights: Conducting deep market research and customer segmentation to understand local buyer personas, identifying the most effective messaging, channels, and tactics to drive interest and engagement. 
  • Buyer Journey Strategy: Developing a comprehensive buyer journey strategy that spans awareness, consideration, and decision stages. This includes planning and executing targeted events, webinars, and digital experiences that engage prospects at every stage of their journey.
  • Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing: Driving lead acquisition campaigns through integrated marketing tactics (digital, events, content) and managing the nurturing process to build a robust pipeline. You will collaborate closely with sales to ensure leads are effectively qualified and handed off to the sales team.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Collaborating with the international marketing team to execute an ABM program targeting select high-value accounts in Japan, aligning resources and efforts to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution: Overseeing SEO/SEM strategies, content marketing initiatives, and optimizing digital campaigns to ensure strong web traffic, lead generation, and conversion rates.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, resources, SOW (scope of work) / budget
  • Brand Positioning & Messaging: Ensuring that all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications reinforce the company’s brand positioning and value propositions for the Japan market, while maintaining global branding consistency.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring and analysing campaign performance using data-driven insights to optimise and improve campaigns. You will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on marketing ROI to leadership.
  • Partner Marketing: Collaborating with partner sales teams to develop marketing programs that enable partners to generate leads and drive sales. This includes managing the local MDF program and ensuring partners have the tools they need to succeed.
  • Public Relations & Communications: Working with the PR and communications teams to execute local PR campaigns, managing the local PR agency, and securing media coverage through executive interviews, product launches, and customer success stories.
  • Innovation and Continuous Learning: Staying ahead of industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and new methodologies to ensure Infor remains at the forefront of the marketing landscape. You will explore innovative marketing practices to enhance performance and growth in Japan.
Basic Qualifications
  • 10  years of proven multi-channel B2B software marketing experience, gained within enterprise-level software (ideally SaaS) technology industries 
  • Experience in managing lead generation campaigns, including events, from conception to completion. We are looking for some with a modern approach to marketing including connected campaigns vs one off tactics.
  • Data-driven results oriented in managing full mix multi-channel buyer-journey marketing campaigns to drive awareness and strong commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to think strategically and see the big picture, combined with excellent prioritisation and execution skills
  • Budget and project management skills
  • Excellent oral communication and good writing skills with demonstrable ability to write copy for a range of promotional materials. Fluent in English.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment with flexibility, and ability to adapt to changes in strategy and project plans - reliable, self-motivated with a strong 'can do' attitude.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint experience mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of marketing & sales technology Pardot, Demandbase, SFDC is a plus
