Position Summary

The position of the FSM competency director will ensure we have a consistent approach Globally to enhance the delivery skills of the Industry teams.    The focus will be on knowledge management encompassing Industry strategy, thought leadership and feedback from the projects we deliver.  We already have the same role for M3 and LN.

A Day In the Life…

  • Responsible for the Industry readiness development of FSM cloud suites professionals, working closely with the enablement team and Global Service practices. 
  • Lead Knowledge/innovation & best practice sharing and build an ever-learning community of practice across the FSM industries we serve.
  • Work with Practices leads on Industry-specific resourcing requirements for major projects and competency development plans, including partners.
  • Influence and assess the capacity planning of resources allocations for forecasted sold projects to ensure everyone has the right Industry and FSM skill set to deliver. 
  • Build a strong relationship with Industry Strategy, Product development, sales and delivery teams to ensure successful field enablement for new product releases. 
  • Work closely with Product Development to ensure consultant readiness for successful project implementations.
  • Be a spokesperson internally and externally for FSM to support the development and growth of the FSM business
  • Own and lead FSM communications to ensure FSM enhancement launch materials are communicated effectively.

Key Responsibilities & KPIs:

  • Work with the FSM practices to great a common approach for development, coaching and team building.
  • Responsible for skills development, knowledge/best practice sharing and building strong communities of practice.
  • Drive FSM awareness to ensure all consultants are up to date with the latest product information and knowledge to continue to serve customers.
  • Work with management on resourcing requirements for major projects and competence development plans.
  • Work closely with Product Development to ensure consultant readiness for successful project implementations.
  • Be a spokesperson internally and externally for FSM to support the development and growth of the FSM business.
  • Review Opportunities on CRM by Industry
  • Review GDS %age on Opportunities
  • Review GDS Variance report and coordinate gaps with delivery
  • Work with Ops to refine reports
  • Own and lead all FSM communications to ensure FSM enhancement launch materials are communicated effectively.
  • Collaborate on global agility initiatives such as Time to value, Agility 2.0
  • Create and priorities an improvement list measured against MBO’s.

Basic Qualifications & Key Experience

  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing environment
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with various levels of management
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of services industry and enterprise software services, ideally some cloud-based experience
  • Proven track record of employee development and management, you will be seen as an inspirational leader
  • Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to motivate teams towards high levels of achievement
  • Previous experience within a near/offshore model
  • Deep knowledge of Infor and FSM Industries, Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent understanding of English (communication and writing)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a team member
