Description & Requirements
This role works with product teams to help them understand how to adopt UX best practices, design standards and assets. The role identifies gaps in UX acumen and mentors members, with enablement content and training. The role identifies resources that needs to be developed to support the team.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Educate Product teams on UX best practices and how to use assets from the Infor Design System
- Collect use cases to feed the roadmaps for common services (design system and cloud technology platform)
- Be the end user advocate and UX challenger to promote usability enhancements that improve productivity in every monthly release
- Track progress against our six UX priorities:
- streamlining navigation: reconcile structure, consolidate taxonomy
- hierarchy: elevate page headers, emphasize data, contextual importance, and priority
- simplifying search: decrease fields, consolidate filtering
- workflow productivity: reduce click states, provide clarity, guide user to success
- humanizing data: easier scanning/quicker comprehension, actionable
- modernize structure: form layout, pattern usage
- Identify education/training needs and gaps
Required skills:
- Experience working on/with a design system
- Experience with enterprise or B2B software
- A proven history of collaboration, building deep partnerships with internal teams and stakeholders
- Ability to quickly adopt the Infor Design point of view on Usability and remain a steadfast advocate for the user and usability
- Ability to analyze UX/usability issues and to identify areas of enhancement—and to guide, cajole, persuade, or lead product teams to a creating a better outcome
- Ability to identify UX education/training opportunities for colleagues and connecting them to learning resources
- Ability to gather use cases and articulate them in actionable ways, adding to the backlogs/roadmaps for the design system, cloud technology platform, Insights team, education/enablement/training teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Healthcare or other service industries
- Strong background in organizational skills and time management to manage multiple tasks simultaneously including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to teamwork and ability to operate in a matrix management environment
