Infor’s Marketing Design team is responsible for envisioning, designing, and bringing to life the visual touch points of our brand and supporting the needs of marketing campaigns at a global scale. We work in close collaboration with our Content & Brand Strategy partners to define and deliver engaging and measurable experiences. As the Senior Art Director, you will work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional, break-through experiences for our prospects, customers, partners, and employees. You will guide and oversee a dedicated team of designers to envision innovative solutions and execute the brand vision at scale. You are a subject matter expert in brand oversight, visual communication, UX and interaction design. Equal parts conceptual problem solver and exemplary designer, able to contribute to the strategic direction for creative and able to be hands-on at any time, for any project. You must have proven experience working with B2B technology brands —ERP systems and enterprise software companies are ideal. It is essential that you develop a quick understanding of Infor’s business, it’s market strategy and differentiators, and how design supports Infor business goals in marketing, sales, and product across the customer and employee lifecycle. This role will be responsible for mentoring and managing the design team, as well as inspiring and fostering the best collaboration across departments.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Oversight of the brand design team, enabling them to produce the highest-fidelity work product
- Collaboration with and oversight external creative agency resources and teams
- Inspiring those you lead to elevate their craft and hone conceptual thinking
- Fostering a collaborative, cross-disciplinary design work environment.
- A go-to creative resource for team members and stakeholders in assessing ideas and aligning visual directions
- Strategic thinking and passion for developing meaningful experiences under tight deadlines
- Partners with Creative Director to apply and define brand standards; strengthening the corporate visual identity throughout the company
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years of experience as an Art Director or Associate Art Director with an agency/ firm
- Years of proven experience managing a team of creatives
- Strong communicator - possesses verbal and written business acumen.
- Knack for leading, mentoring and/or inspiring team members. Able to assign work and set deadlines alongside project management.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your innovative work across multiple channels, print and digital
- Deep understanding of user interface, application, mobile and responsive design
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and Figma.
- Combine strategic business savvy with strong advocacy for marketing and design
- Ability to deliver rapidly within a lean process and alongside multiple stakeholders
- At home in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, flexible and easily adapts to change
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in design or creative leadership
- Previous experience developing a brand identity
- Display advanced skill at developing wireframes, user stories and journeys, and prototypes optimized for devices and contexts
