Position Summary
Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Developer to join our growing Financials & Supply Management (FSM) Development Team at Hyderabad. You would be joining a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional team composed of Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, Product Owners and Quality Assurance Analysts.
This Team has around 70+ Resources working on various Modules like Account Receivables, Account Payables, General Ledger, Franchise, Order Entry, Billing & Work Order. Apart from this team also works on Integrations, Mobile & Globalization etc.,
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Learning new technologies like Landmark Platform and development Tool (LPL) based on Java.
- Learning functional and technical details of the product.
- Scrum calls and collaboration with SMEs from different locations.
- Responsible for code changes for fixing Bugs and Enhancements using Development Tool (LPL).
Basic Qualifications:
- Academics: MCA or ME/M.Tech or BE/B.Tech
- Experience: 3 - 4 Years
Required Skills:
- 3 + years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, including experience with Java tooling (e.g. eclipse) and knowledge of best practices.
- Hands on experience with Web Services development (SOAP & Restful).
- Hands on experience with Web UI Frameworks/programs like JavaScript.
- Considers and treats Unit testing as intrinsic part of work.
- Hands on experience with creating XML/XSD/JSON.
- Experienced building complex business applications using relational databases (ideally Oracle and SQL Server).
- Good working knowledge of SQL, JDBC and ORM.
- Strong knowledge of relational concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership to a small team.
- Excellent oral and written communication in English.
- Application domain expertise a plus.
- Go Getter attitude & Quick Learner.
- Out of the box thinking.
- Complete hold on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Must be able to work with Multi Cultural/National teams, prior experience is a plus.
- Investigate, analyze, and correct reported defects.
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
- Perform coding to agreed functional and technical requirements.
- Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ERP processes.
- Experience with multi-tenant systems.
- Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
