We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development and Operations Engineer that will join our Cloud SaaS Operations team. You’ll work with many AWS offerings and open-source tools. You’ll help provide operational support to our Cloud Infrastructure that hosts our enterprise applications while maintaining the backend services. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring, and development of system automations while working with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise to help us deliver multi-tenant applications to customers in the cloud. And you’ll work on a tight-knit team that moves fast and learns new skills on a daily basis.

What You Will Need?
Experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure and deployments. 
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Lambda. 
Experience managing Windows and Linux-based environments, including configuration management, security hardening, and performance tuning. 
Experience containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like ECS and Kubernetes. 
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. 
Experience with tools like Grafana and Telegraf, SumoLogic, CloudWatch for observability, logging, and monitoring. 
Scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell experience. 
Experience with networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud-based architectures. 
Experience communicating and collaborating in a cross-functional team environment. 

What Will Put You Ahead?
Experience with IaC tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform is highly desirable. 
Experience with Git-based version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab). 
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). 

A Day In A Life Typically Includes:
Support Infrastructure and Operations
o Participate in Infor's Monthly Consolidated Maintenance Window.
o Perform proactive maintenance on servers without service disruption.
o Ad hoc tasks required to manage the supported application are taken care of.

Performance Monitoring and Health Checks
o Monitoring dashboards and health check alerts are regularly checked for potential problems.
o Ad hoc tasks to configure and optimize existing monitoring of server health are performed.
o PagerDuty alerts are attended or resolved before customer escalates an issue.
o Affected service functionalities during an incident or outage are identified.

Incident Management
o Infor JIRA tickets and ServiceNow incidents are responded and updated on a timely manner to immediately resolve the issue.
o Issues escalated by Ops and Support via Email or MS Teams are attended with a sense of urgency.
o Service outage is resolved within the SLA.

Process Automation and Scripting
o Manual processes are reviewed and evaluated for potential automation.
o Automation scripts are regularly reviewed and updated for product version compatibility.
o Create ad hoc scripts for day-to-day operations use and managing of products.
o Collaborate with Infra, Dev and Ops team members to seek ways and opportunities for automation.

Personal Development, Documentation, and Infrastructure Management
o Continuous knowledge improvement on related technologies by completing online courses in Infor Udemy and other sources.
o Technical skills are practiced by sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues on their issues.
o Wiki pages are being updated and new processes are documented.
o Update JIRA and ServiceNow tickets with resolution notes.
o Capacity of resources are reviewed, scaling-in or scaling down the under-utilized and unused resources.
