Financial Analyst 




 Position Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department is responsible for overseeing Infor's plan and forecast, long-term business plan and financial analysis. FP&A acts as a challenging business partner, working closely with each organization at Infor to provide financial and strategic support. All analysts within the broader FP&A organization will gain in-depth exposure and experience in the Enterprise software Business software Cloud computing industry.

This role will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing business operation specific to headcount related costs. They will use this information to manage headcount and work with the leadership team to ensure headcount stays within plan. The candidate will report to the SaaS FP&A Director.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Assist senior analyst to explain monthly variance analysis on a month-end close, plan vs actuals, forecast vs actuals, year-over-year, etc
  • Assist with the development of the plan and forecast as well as enter plan/forecast information
  • Proactively review of financial results and take corrective actions when necessary
  • Approve and track all headcount related expenses
  • Ad hoc financial analysis
  • Interact with management at all levels to facilitate information gathering to drive entrepreneurial change

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related area of study
  • Minimum 1-2 years of analytical work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
  • Track record of outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to prioritize a range of responsibilities and adapt as business problems change
