Description & Requirements

Successfully understand project resource requirements and act to deploy resources to fulfill those requirements, detailed implementation planning, project plan and overall project coordination, developing positive costumer relationships at the project team level, creating a high level of customer satisfaction, and effective team management.

 A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Direct point of contact for all implementation-related issues, and resource requirements.

• Manage all resources that are on site, which will include writing peer reviews.

• Serve as the primary agent in helping Infor clients achieve their tactical goals including a successful implementation, a positive business relationship with Infor, and to become and remain a satisfied client of Infor products and services.

• Identify risks on the project and escalate to management as needed.

• Understanding Infor’s technology and strategic directions.

• Possess knowledge of the market to which they are assigned, including: industry, trends, the applicability of Infor products within the target market, and key competitors.

• Understanding the effect and implication the software implementation may have upon the client business environment.

• Understands the effect databases, hardware configurations, networks, and new technology have on Infor applications with the ability to apply this knowledge to clients’ needs.

• Possess a high degree of project planning and systems integration expertise.

• Achieve a comprehensive knowledge of, and the ability to communicate, Infor’s Implementation Methodology to clients, prospects, and third parties.

• Work with the Account Executives and other service team members to estimate services needed for prospective clients and set process expectations.

• Fully responsible for development and maintenance of the client’s project plan and for effective communication of that plan as appropriate with Infor.

• Understanding resource requirements for the entire project, matching those requirements to Infor’s competencies and moving to fill those requirements with Infor or sub-contracted third party resources.

• Maintaining the proper level of documentation necessary in each engagement to enable the Client and Infor to periodically assess project status and monitor and collect Accounts Receivables.

• Coordinating communication within the consulting team to include identification of client expectations, critical business issues, and any pertinent information discovered during the turnover process with the sales team.

• Facilitating accurate and up-to-date consultant schedule information for all client projects by ensuring the Infor PSA application is up-to-date for resource assignment, client opportunities, and resource skill-sets.

What You Will Need:

• 3 years software application project management experience

• 6 years ERP project experience

• Project management experience with certification as a PMP from PMI achieved within 18 months of hiring into the role.

• Prior experience working with, and or coordinating the efforts of multiple parties (e.g. third parties or clients) on large scale software implementation projects

• Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing environment

• Expert use of MS-Project
