Description & Requirements

Infor is seeking a Senior Consulting Manager to join our Professional Services organization in the Central region. The Senior Consulting Manager reports to the VP Consulting Practice and manages a consulting team with the main focus of the role being accountable for the implementation execution by leveraging prescriptive delivery methods to ensure customer outcomes. The accountability starts early in the Sales Cycle, overseeing the opportunities together with Client Partners and Account Management by providing respective Sales Support up to managing the project portfolio to the post go-live optimization phase. In partnership with Customer Success leaders and Industry teams responsible for capacity planning and resource allocation. The principal KPI’s are revenue, margin & customer satisfaction. The Senior Consulting Manager works closely with the Project Managers, Client Partners, Off- and Nearshore Centers, Competency Centers and with Resource Planning.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Assure high customer satisfaction by providing high quality in services delivery.
  • Actively participate in project steering committee meetings as a project sponsor.
  • Support sales cycles and partner with services sales and product sales to execute seamless Sales to Service transitions for both Infor and our clients.
  • Achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Drive knowledge exchange processes within both the team & across Services organization.
  • Leads a team of Subject Matter Experts & Solution Architects.
  • Close collaboration with Near- and Offshore centers to assure an appropriate delivery mix and optimized project margin.
  • Actively contribute to and establish business developments plans with the assigned region.
  • Serve as escalation point in projects.
  • Work closely with Regional Management, PM’s, Client Partners, Competency Center, Near- and Offshore Centers on capacity planning, resourcing requirements for major projects & resource competence development plans.
  • Be a spokesperson internally and externally to support development and growth of the assigned region.
  • Projects are delivered as sold – within established program variances.
  • Continuous improvement of product capabilities through feedback from the field into to Industry Leadership and Product Management.
  • Support the Infor partner network via health checks and solution reviews during program milestones.
  • Continuous Improvement of a Modernized Methodology including sales, product dev, support and all stakeholders to ensure customer success.
Knowledge and Skills, you bring to the organization (E= Essential, D= Desirable):
  • Several years of line management experience in the Professional Services business, preferably in a shared service model (E)
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment (E)
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with various levels of management(E)
  • Experience working with, and or coordinating the efforts of multiple parties(E)
  • Experience in software industry or related industry including management experience (E)
  • Knowledge of Infor company products and services (E)
  • Knowledge of applicable industry terminology and practices (E)
  • Ability to manage margin & revenue forecast and reflect a true position (E)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills (E)
  • Excellent understanding of German and English (communication and writing) (E)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a team member (E)
  • Professional appearance and presentation (E)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (D)
  • Experience of successful implementation of large scale software implementation projects (D)
  • Services delivery experience and strong track record of overachievement on targets (D)
