Description & Requirements
Software Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of core HCM products with a focus on US payroll and tax. Write & maintain code and perform testing and debugging of applications using IBMi ILE, CLLE & SQL, and other technologies and business knowledge. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities :
· Codes, tests, and documents system modifications according to Infor standards
· Review modifications with development to ensure successful completion.
· Prepares test data for unit and integration testing.
· Completes all appropriate unit and integration tests prior to handoff to the functional and QA team for system testing
· Assists in the development of new employees through on-the-job mentoring and coaching.
· Actively shares knowledge and skills with other members of the technical staff. Learn the required functional/product knowledge and deliver the software according to the requirements and planning.
Qualification & Skills :
· Bachelor’s degree with 2 + years of IBMi development experience.
· Any HCM ERP functional knowledge with a focus on US payroll and tax is an advantage.
· Hands-on experience with a strong depth of knowledge in ILE, RPGLE, CLLE, DB400, SQL, and Free-Format.
· Thorough technical knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and implementation.
· Excellent analytical and design skills at multiple product levels.
· Excellent understanding of the entire development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Command of Microsoft Office products with a focus on Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
