Infor is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join the ERPXA Development team that develops, maintains, and enhances ERPA XA product. The developer should be a dynamic professional who will be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion. Develop and deliver codes for the work assigned in accordance with time and quality standards.  

Title: Software Engineer Senior/ Java Developer

Experience: 6-10 Years

Location: Preferably Hyderabad / Remote

Education: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in CSE/IT.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or related field preferred.
• + years of experience on Java development and support.
• Should have strong hands-on experience on Java, Java Script, XML, JSON
• Should have strong hands-on experience on MS SQL Server or DB2
• Good to have experience in IBM i.
• Experience with ERP XA and/or IDF preferred.
• Good to have experience on SOAP and Restful APIs. Understanding on Http request handling. Experience testing APIs using SOAPUI and Postman.
• Ability to work in current technical environments and with collaborative tools (Jira, Wiki,.)
• Good communication skills and comfortability speaking in small group settings.
• Proven experience in software development methodologies
• Good to have experience on SOAP and Restful APIs. Understanding on Http request handling. Experience testing APIs using SOAPUI and Postman.
• Ability to multi-task
• Self-teacher in acquiring technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, and debugging software
• Maintain, upgrade, and enhance existing software.
• Review and resolve software-related findings and make required changes.
• Regularly attend team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and provide status updates.
• Improve performance of existing software
• Recommend new technologies that can help increase productivity.
• Work closely with the product team and QA to ensure product is well-tested and updates are properly deployed.
• Write and maintain design specification documents.
• Investigate product functionalities, new technologies or 3rd party software for areas to improve current product.
• Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot issues reported by the customers, support, or QA.
• Estimate, prioritize and refine tasks during the Sprint Planning event.
• Provide timely and meaningful feedback during Sprint Retrospective event.
• Be open to take on other projects and responsibilities as necessary.
• Be able to impart knowledge on others to build their careers.
