Solution Consultants

Location: Hyderabad

Position Summary:

The Solutions Consultant will support business development/sales activities related to new opportunity acquisition for WMS Platform. Key activities include working with global sales/solutions consulting teams across all enterprise customer verticals, researching accounts, identifying existing process challenges, building and supporting solution demonstrations, writing proposal & responding to RFPs/RFIs, cross-checking supply chain partners existing on the platform, creating value-based business cases, moving prospects through the sales cycle and working towards closing new business for the company. 

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare standard and custom solution demonstrations to support sales opportunity pursuit
  • Prepare standard and custom software demonstrations and associated demo scripts
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs
  • Maintain and update the shared stock answers repository
  • Participate in demo hand-off to field operatives
  • Work with Product Development, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to keep the demo environment up to date with new releases and resolve any bugs or defects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate Solutions Consultant – 4-7 Years
  • Solutions Consultant – 8-10 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advance level visual basic programming
  • Intermediate DBMS MS SQL
  • Significant pre-sales experience in WMS preferred with various industries knowledge
  • Good understanding of typical warehousing business processes and requirements
  • Professional XML coding skills
  • Prior experience in presales role and supply chain domain
  • Comfortable and effective with customer facing activities like presenting solution demos
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Team player
  • Problem solving
  • Fast learning
