Infor Public Sector Billing Analyst and Implementation Consultant

Location: Remote

The Consultant plays a key role in assisting our customers with the implementation of Infor public sector solutions software. Infor Public Sector Suite is tailored to meet the complex industry demands of government and utilities—all with the benefit of cloud deployment. This includes community development and regulation and public safety, customer service, asset and work management and utility billing. The consultant leads all phases of the project execution including requirements gathering, solution design, application configuration, system testing, education, and adoption. The consultant works with senior client stakeholders to craft an overall solution within the defined scope of the project

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

Use data analytics and user personas to assess current processes and guide customer stakeholders to the recommended processes

Determine and recommend a solution(s) that matches attainment of the customers’ objectives.

Provide knowledge of the customers’ industry and business during the project implementation

Design solution to align client business needs with standard application capabilities and best approach for gaps

Perform installation and configuration of all core ad "add-on" products onsite and remotely

Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise

Guide the solution configuration with US and Offshore resources based on design, using iterations of prototypes and testing to validate 

Participate in planning and execution of data conversions integrations to other systems

Work with agreed quality processes including quality control though system testing 

Consult on report design, conversion and interface mapping

Potential travel of 50-75%, post COVID


What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

1 – 3 years of experience implementing technology solutions to public sector customers

Experience playing key role in full life cycle implementations 

Functional knowledge related to product focus (e.g., strong working knowledge of public sector regulations)

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

Working understanding of community development, permitting and/or licensing

OR - Experience with public sector billing software (gas, electric, water)

Ability to consult with external customers and build effective relationships 

Ability to learn and master new technologies
