We are seeking a highly motivated and highly knowledgeable Database Administrator who will join our Infor Public Sector team. You’ll help provide operational support to the team that manages our enterprise applications while maintaining the backend Database solutions. You will be responsible for working on the administration of the database, performance optimization, and query tuning.
What You Will Need? (Basic Qualification)• At least 5 years - 8 years of experience in database programming or a related field, with a focus on complex development projects.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Practical experience in designing and implementing high-volume transactional systems.
• Proven experience with database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing, and storage techniques.
• Open to work on hybrid work setup. reporting onsite 2x a week.
What Will Put You Ahead? (Preferred Qualification)
• Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
• Oracle DB Administration Knowledge
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Familiarity with data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.

• Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems and architectures to support high-volume transactional applications.
• Lead database design efforts and data integration for complex development projects, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Apply advanced analytical and design skills to solve complex data-related challenges.
• Optimize database performance by analyzing and fine-tuning SQL queries, indexing, and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, business analysts, and data scientists, to develop data-driven solutions.
• Ensure database security, compliance with regulatory standards, and data governance policies.
• Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of high-volume transactional systems.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including schemas, data models, and data dictionaries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity concerns.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies, trends, and best practices.
