Description & Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer, with experience developing and automating cloud software. You’ll help define Infor’s next-generation CI/CD pipeline, as well as monitoring, metrics, and analytics infrastructure while working with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise to help us deliver multi-tenant applications to customers in the cloud. And you’ll work on a tight-knit team that moves fast and learns new skills daily.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

·       Write and Implement code and automation for cloud-based applications

·       Collaborate with other developers and departments to ensure high quality software and timely delivery

·       Participate in standups and perform code review

·       Participate in daily Stand-Ups, Sprint planning and Sprint DEMO

·       Maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing systems and procedures

·       Maintain and enhance existing systems based on user feedback

·       Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet the business goals of application and environment

Required skills:

·       Experience automating cloud software; desire to automate and avoid manual tasks

·       Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Linux

·       Experience working with a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, etc.)

·       Intermediate to advanced platform with troubleshooting in the technologies in which you are proficient

·       Familiar with Sprint and Agile methodology

·       Must be flexible, collaborative, eager to learn new things and try to help and contribute for the growth of the company, team, and personal growth.

·       Understand Customer’s urgent requests, critical issues, fixes and have flexibility to work around with teams in different time zones as required.

·       Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional work experience in field

·       Strong understanding of containerization and micro-services architecture

·       Strong understand of creating, debugging CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab/Jenkins with different plugins

·       Strong understanding of AWS resources

·       Application services including Lambda, Step Functions and AWS SDKs

·       Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes

Location:  US Remote (Dallas, TX, Alpharetta, GA, St. Paul, MN)
