Position Summary
The IT Project Manager will support the successful delivery of Data-Related internal projects such as software implementations or other IT-led dashboard and solution builds, migrations, enhancements, and integrations. The role will be responsible for independently managing large and complex IT projects from start to end. IT Project Manager will drive the successful execution of IT projects and work closely with internal stakeholders as well as 3rd party vendors. This role will ensure that scope, schedule, cost, risks, and quality are adequately managed throughout the project. IT Project Manager is responsible for creating a comprehensive project plan, ensuring that the appropriate resources are added to the projects, tracking tasks, project progress reporting and ultimately ensures the project is successful. IT Project Manager follow established project management processes to launch projects. 

This role will primarily support project management needs for the Data Management & Analytics (DMA) team, including leading large transformational data projects, providing guidance and ensuring best practices are followed for DMA members leading smaller data projects, assist on the planning and management of data workstreams as part of larger System Implementations, and act as a liaison between the DMA and Project Management Team for providing project updates.

The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering IT projects resulting in successful outcomes, can navigate large organizations with multiple, global project stakeholders (both internal and external), is organized and detail-oriented, and takes a sense of ownership of their projects.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
• Independently manage large complex projects from start to end.
• Adheres to PMO framework and project management best practices and assists others within DMA to follow the framework as well
• Works with IT Business Relationship Manager, IT Development Teams, 3rd Party Vendors, and Business Stakeholders to take ownership of parts of project plans, including scope, timeline, cost, risks, and resources needed
• Leads the project from the front and creates a comprehensive project plan with all PMI knowledge areas
• Monitors the project progress and proactively managing risks
• Expert in managing stakeholder expectations, including setting up and running Steer co and governance council meetings.
• Preparing reports to communicate progress of the project
• Keeps track of project progress, manages expectations, and provides regular project status updates to stakeholder groups 
• Tracks and assigns tasks and action items to both internal individuals and 3rd parties, keeps the project on schedule, identifies project risks, and escalates issues that may hinder the project success
• Ensures that requirement specifications have been prepared and agreed upon.
• Understands and embraces Market Based Management (MBM)
What You Will Need:
• 5+ years Project Management experience 
• A firm understanding and executing on the large-scale thinking and the approach needed for success of a project; able to plan, prioritize and deliver within constrained timelines
• Experience delivering multiple projects that span multiple quarters with a large group of stakeholders
• Previous implementation and/or migration experience with SaaS applications
• Excellent communication, organization, time-management, judgement/decision-making, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and work effectively with all levels of organization and a team with a variety of subject matter expertise
 • Demonstrated ability to influence others and hold stakeholders accountable
• Proven ability to take calculated actions in complex or ambiguous situations to set a direction or resolve issues
• Experience in agile methodologies

What Will Put You Ahead?
• Degree in Business Administration/Management or a technical field
• 5+ years as a project manager in a large technology company is preferred
• Experience with data modeling techniques and/or creating reports and dashboards a plus, but not required
• Experience working on IT projects.
• Experience with Jira and Microsoft Projects
• Experience working with international teams
• PMP Certified is a plus, but not required
