IT Technical Support Engineer

Desktop-Laptop Support / AV TECHNICIAN

Desktop / AV Technician is required to provide support End Users with laptop hardware, general application support and execution of Audio Visual operations and support at Infor.  The involvement varies from large in-person events to in office meetings involving video conferencing, and project coordination.  Support will be provided via telephone, email and direct interaction with end users. This support will include remote assessment and resolution of problems, proper routing and escalation of problems within the IT organization and in general a contribution to the successful use of Information Technology. This role will be based in a company office location but travel to other offices inside and outside the country may be required.  This is not a contract role, but a full time employee with benefits.


·       Graduated in Electronics/Computer Science (B.Sc., B.Tech, Diploma in AV/Electronics)

·       2 – 5 years of IT Support experience on Laptops, desktops, and AV equipments

·       In-depth Knowledge and experience on Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac OS.

·       Knowledge on Active directory, Office 365, Linux, Cloud Technologies, Virtualization

·       Experience/Proficiency Windows 2016/2019, Linux Platform, All General applications like MS Office, Adobe, and VPN. in installing and supporting.

·       Installing & Supporting printers

·       Knowledge of network architectures and data communication protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

·       Experience on IT ticketing tool.

·       Good verbal and written communication skills (English)

·       Strong analytical skills

·       Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom,

·       Experience with Crestron, Extron, and Microsoft Teams Rooms systems

·       Video production, VoiP, and UC-conferencing experience a plus

·       Excellent customer service



  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems according to company policy.
  • Provide technical support to users on laptops, telephone, printers and AV equipment’s.
  • Support multiple internal and SaaS based applications and platforms.
  • Consulting with end-users to determine needs and providing user assistance.
  • Liaise with hardware vendors in resolving issues on equipment’s.

  • Upkeep of all AV equipment
  • AV support of meetings, troubleshoot conferences, audio issues, Teams/Zoom/WebEx problems
    • Assist with table, microphone, and audio and video conferencing setup for high profile, in-office meetings
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance around best practices—technical specifications, teleconferencing, AV presentations, Power Point, Video, Audio Mixing, AV Technology
  • Manage third-party vendors and suppliers, as needed
  • Operate AV equipment during meetings and events
  • Work closely and interfaces across teams as required to support various events including IT, Facilities, and Executives

·       Ready to work in any shift (No need of night shifts)

Office Configurations

  • Specify and review AV designs
  • Work with Global AV Team to manage integrations projects
  • Provide network configuration information for AV devices
  • Validate, test and document integrations with room controls, lights, monitors, projectors, conferencing
