Description & Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting corporate employees with ‘client side’ technology, including PC maintenance, peripheral support, mobile phone support, audio/visual tools, troubleshooting, management of software and management of company assets.  Performs installation, configuration and upgrade tasks that may require some research and analysis.  Keeps informed of the most current technologies and may recommend new hardware and software applications. Excellent knowledge of Windows /macOS Laptop maintenance.  Knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems.  Ability to provide technical guidance for company employees regarding Windows/macOS problems.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Assists corporate employees with ‘client technology’ problems and requests. 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of company’s PCs/laptops. 
  • Performs installation, configuration and upgrade tasks. 
  • Serves as troubleshooter on PC problems on all levels. 
  • Researches and evaluates hardware and software. 
  • Makes recommendations for improving performance. 
  • Responds to complex requests and serves as troubleshooter on complex problems. 
  • Assists corporate employees with audio visual problems and requests. 
  • Assists corporate employees with the use of video conferencing solutions.
  • Other Duties/Tasks as assigned by manager

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

·       Minimum associate's degree in computer science (or comparable work experience)

·       Typically requires three to five years of PC support experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IT related Certifications would also be a plus.
