Performs product implementation of new functionality, programming, bug corrections, release testing, and beta support which may require research and analysis. May assist in performing on-site client work. Operates under general supervision.  Does not typically have management responsibilities such as hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews; however, may assist with such decisions and activities.   

What you will need?:   
Minimum Qualifications:  
• Requires a minimum of 8-9 years of technical experience in product design, programming and product support.
• High Level Proficiency in using Java/J2EE Programming language.
• Good skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Helps to mentor less experienced employees in addition to fostering teamwork.
• Amendable to work onsite 3x a week.  

What Will Put You Ahead?:
Preferred Qualifications:
• Agile Scrum experience  
• Experienced in Liferay Portal development
• Experienced in customizing development on top of Liferay and has an experience in upgrading the tech stack.  

A Day In A Life Typically Includes:   
• Performs moderately complex product development, systems analysis and programming activities which may require some research and analysis:
• Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
• Participate in reviewing deliverables from other development teams, including designs, test plans, and documentation help identify and resolve gaps between requirements and technical design
• Performs moderately complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems. 
• Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.
