Position Summary

Supporting the Polish office, you will be a Strategic Business Partner that shares responsibility for the business goals and target delivery, within a matrix organisation. You will be responsible for designing and implementing plans and programs that support employee engagement. You will facilitate organisational change to align with business strategy and objectives, utilising analytics, project management and communication skills.


As a Senior HR Business Partner you should be flexible, enjoy a fast paced, ever-changing business, capable of managing multiple demands and priorities. You should appreciate and have the ability to interact with people from many cultures and diverse backgrounds.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Strategic partnership with the Polish General Manager and Leadership team and to support in the delivery of business goals.
  • Support the HR Director with Global HR agenda and projects as required
  • Partner with internal customers assigned to the job holder to develop organizational capability to meet business goals.
  • Supporting Polish General Manager and coaching and advising Senior Leadership team
  • Provide guidance and coaching to management and employees as appropriate in line with MBM Guiding Principles (MBM is an internal process and training will be given to the successful candidate)
  • Operate as a key business adviser and subject matter expert with assigned team(s) through business knowledge, relationship management and proactive interventions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand business goals and market trends and leverage this insight to recommend and influence new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
  • Act as a catalyst for change; guide and direct organisational design, development and change management solutions.
  • Coach senior leaders on complex leadership and HR issues including development and talent performance and issues, which could have the potential to create a competitive advantage for the business.
  • Support the core processes that add value in talent management, employee engagement and all other HR activities
  • Build relationships with in-country and Global HR teams as appropriate
  • Co-ordinate with the country HR teams when necessary
  • Take responsibility for ad-hoc HR projects as and when required
  • Deal with HR issues, e. g. disciplinary and grievances and ensure all matters are concluded satisfactorily. Work with country processes as applicable
  • Develop and deliver certain training sessions, workshops, Webex’s as required by business, when appropriate


Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization

  • Bachelor degree in HR Management or a similar academic education
  • Proven track record of partnering and coaching senior stakeholders (a strong relationship building approach)
  • Significant generalist HR experience in a global and matrixed environment, providing guidance and influence to Senior level/Executive leadership team members
  • Project Management and Change Management Skills
  • Experience working with leaders and HR teams outside of the home territory
  • Knowledge of Polish labor law
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving approaches and the ability to influence company leaders (strong excel skills)
  • Experience of working in an IT Services or software business would be advantageous
  • Good level of business acumen
  • Adaptable influencing and communication skills
  • Self-starting, tenacious with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Able to motivate and influence others
  • Consultative and coaching approach
  • Able to remain highly effective in changing business circumstances
  • Excellent English language skills
  • European language skills desirable
