Description & Requirements

The Sr. Director of Solutions Strategy is essential in helping Nexus driving alignment between product's positioning, ensuring adequate enablement among the sales team, supporting channel and partners.  The ideal candidate will conduct necessary research, drive Nexus positioning in the market, assist in content development, foster partner/channel engagement and conduct sales enablement as necessary to achieve Nexus 30%+ bookings target growth.

The successful candidate would also uncover the strategic priorities and business opportunities within Nexus and understands the key metrics driving execution and success.

As a Sr. Director of Solutions Strategy you will be expected to have a high level of collaboration with global functions, leadership and regional teams.  You will identify and develop key insights into customers, the marketplace, competitors, macro trends and market opportunities.  You will also analyze trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth, determine product requirements and define targeted customer segments and associated messages. To do all of this, you must be a strong matrix leader, good communicator and well-rounded global commercial leader, with a specific appetite for shaping and executing our growth strategy. 

This position reports to the VP of Industry and Solution Strategy is a highly diverse and strategic role for those who like to work in a cross functional environment.



A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Based upon insights and input from key focus markets, drive an integrated and holistic strategy with Sales, Strategy, Go To Market, Product, Marketing and other relevant functions.
Represent the global view in cross-functional forums to inform the strategic decisions for the businesses and industries.
Monitor and report on business trends and insights related to competitors in our focus industries and markets, solutions, and general industry developments.
Contribute to the creation of clear and compelling messaging that uniquely positions Infor Nexus products and solutions.
Proactively identify new opportunities to increase the effectiveness of our marketing strategies to engage/support current customers and attract new customers.
Communicate business performance updates including business development, pipeline, services, customer health, operations and finance.
Align with development and product management to ensure priorities align with strategic direction.
Support the annual strategic development process, business portfolio performance review  to advance Infor Nexus’ strategy.
Gain the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate trade-off / prioritization decisions with senior leaders, functions, cross-functional project teams and colleagues by providing rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis.


Required skills:

Experience in supply chain solutions driving go-to-market, demand generation, and strategy programs with measurable performance.
Evidence of developing compelling business cases.
Experience working with a cross-functional multi-level team.
Experience preparing and presenting effective post-performance and post-mortem reports inclusive of KPI data to share across a wide audience base in an effort to drive continuous improvement.
Proven ability to take initiative, and influence all levels and functions within the organization to achieve results.


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business/Engineering.
Nice to have experience in the SaaS/software industry.
Bonus points for experience and knowledge of Fashion and industrial manufacturing industries.
Prior experience leading marketing and go-to-market strategy.
