The function of this role will be to install and maintain our Windows applications, maintain and develop new functions for an existing solution. The right candidate will have experience in Windows OS, SQL, IIS, Vb.net, Visual Studio 2017 , designing, developing, and maintaining applications with PCSoft Development tools (French IDE). This role is also expected to provide technical subject matter expertise on purpose for software package.


Essential Duties:

• Install, maintain Infor and Microsoft software
• Design, code, and corrective maintenance of the developments entrusted to you.
• Assist and participate with design, estimation and planning activities.
• Provide testing and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
• Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products:
• Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems.
• Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
• Familiar with troubleshooting application performance
• Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.

Windows Server
The candidate needs to know:
- Configuring and managing server roles and features such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and File Services.
- Skills in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.

SQL Server
The candidate needs to know:
- Administer SQL Server
- Backup and restore
- create SQL queries (Select, Delete, Insert)
- execute SQL queries

IIS (Internet Information Services)
The candidate needs to know:
- Administer IIS
- manage security in IIS
- be able to configure and manage websites, application pools and SSL certificates
- Understand network services and protocols related to IIS, such as HTTP, HTTPS and FTP
- Know how to deploy Web sites and applications on IIS
- Monitor performance and log management to detect and resolve problems.

Tomecat
The candidate needs to know:
- Install, configure and manage of Tomcat.
- Understand of configuration files (server.xml, web.xml, context.xml).
- Be able to deploy and manage Java applications on Tomcat.
- Be Experienced of using Tomcat logs to identify and resolve problems.
Basic Qualifications:

• Windows, .NET, IIS, MS technical expertise
• Software maintenance, project management, and build of webservice.
• Fluent French language required.
• A demonstrated ability to work in a team in a multi-cultural environment;
• Rigor in the quality of the deliverables provided, and compliance with deadlines.
• A sense of pedagogy (internal support)

Preferred Qualifications:

Windows Server system, network, SQL, Pervasive, IIS, Tomcat
