Job Overview

Infor is hiring a Team Lead responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and highly available web applications hosted on the AWS cloud platform.

The Team Lead will play a crucial role in guiding and managing a team of software developers in the design, development, and deployment of high-quality .NET applications. The lead will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and efficiency. The leadership will be key in aligning the team’s efforts with the company’s strategic objectives and delivering software solutions that meet business needs.

Job Duties

  • : Lead, mentor, and support a team of .NET developers, providing technical guidance, professional development, and performance feedback. Cultivate a positive team culture and ensure effective communication within the team.
  • Oversee the technical design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Manage project timelines, resources, and risks, and ensure successful and timely project delivery.
  • Enforce coding standards and best practices, conduct code reviews, and promote the use of efficient and maintainable code. Ensure the team follows best practices in software development and testing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance development practices, team productivity, and software quality. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving support for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on business operations.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7-10 years of extensive experience in software development using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core), with proven experience leading development teams and managing software projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of developers, with strong interpersonal skills and experience in conflict resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and best practices. Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), version control systems (e.g., Git), and modern development tools and frameworks.
  • Experience in managing software projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource management. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
  • Knowledge/certifications of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and development practices.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools.
