• Deploy and maintain scalable cloud-based distributed, multi-tiered, concurrent, cross platforms web applications core infrastructure systems that perform and scale in a multi-tenant cloud environment
• Develop, maintain, and manage AWS infrastructure using tools CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI.
• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools using AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, or other relevant tools. Drive quality by writing unit, functional, load and performance tests
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM policies, security groups, network ACLs, and encryption in transit and at rest.
• Automate repetitive tasks such as server provisioning, deployment, scaling, and backups using scripting languages (Python, Bash) and AWS services like Lambda
• Work closely with software developers to optimize the development workflow and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, including backup and restoration strategies using AWS Backup, S3, Glacier, etc.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on AWS .
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, etc.)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline).
• Excellent grasp of Object-Oriented Programing Concepts.
• Good to have Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, Load Balancing).
• Experience in monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience in working with development IDE such as Eclipse/NetBeans is preferable
• Experience with Development tooling (e.g. Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, Gitlab/Git/SVN)

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, reporting directly to the Team Lead/Manager of Infor Cloud Operations, you will be responsible for Cloud Operations delivery. You will manage and automate cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), working closely with our development and operations teams to streamline deployment and monitoring processes, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of our systems.
