We are looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone early in their DevOps career who is eager to build hands-on experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD automation, system administration, and scripting. You will support the implementation and maintenance of development pipelines, infrastructure deployments, and system monitoring while working under the guidance of senior engineers.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Support the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
  • Help manage Linux and Windows servers in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Contribute to writing and improving automation scripts using shell scripting or Python.
  • Assist with infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and application performance, escalating issues when needed.
  • Participate in routine operational tasks such as deployments, backups, and patching.
  • Document technical procedures, runbooks, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and senior DevOps team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues

What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• In depth understanding or internship experience in DevOps-related roles
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Some experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.) and/or Windows Server environments.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Exposure to version control systems like Git.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices.


What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with Docker or other container technologies.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, load balancers).
• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or other entry-level cloud certifications.
