Lead the team that delivers one or more service within the Global Service Desk organization, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of such service/s. 

The GSD manager is also responsible for providing people, project, operational, and business leadership within the IT organization.

 

 

 

 

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience 
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to consistently perform in a high pressure, deadline oriented global environment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Clear communication skills in both verbal and written/electronic mode.
  • Familiar with basic function of IT support.

 

 

 

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

 


  • 5 or more years global IT support and/or business process experience.
  • General knowledge in software and hardware  troubleshooting.
  • Solid track record in an operational/support role, understands incident/problem/change management and how to drive stability across organizations.
  • Strong and keen focus on operational performance metrics and trend analysis
  • ITIL and/or Scrum/Agile Methodology experience is a plus

 


 A Day in The Life Typically Includes:


  • The GSD manager is involved in the hiring, development, performance evaluation, and overall people management for his/her specific line of service.
  • He/she is responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the support processes within his line of service, which also include the collaboration with other support and business teams within Infor.
  • He/she arranges, assigns, adjusts, and monitors shifts to ensure appropriate support coverage. 
  • He/she ensures the consistent design of appropriate services, technology, processes, and metrics to meet current and evolving business outcomes and requirements.
  • He/she undertakes any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
