The Senior Director, Marketing - Northern EMEA will be the leader for the overall EMEA North Marketing and will manage and drive execution for the UK Marketing function. EMEA North covers UK, Nordics and Benelux. 

This person will lead the marketing team for the region and be responsible for the integrated marketing plan for the region, ensuring a synchronized plan for generating demand and generating interest. The key goals for this role are to generate leads which build into opportunities and pipeline to support the required sales targets and growth for Infor’s business. A priority for this role will be an evolution of the UK marketing plan to drive growth in this market. 

This person will need to be the primary partner to the UK Sales Leader and a strong partner to the General Manager for the overall EMEA North region.  Strong collaboration with Sales and the broader worldwide marketing team will be essential.
  
Infor is seeking a person who combines business acumen and strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hand-on approach to execution of impactful marketing programs.  Someone who has extensive regional marketing experience, who can build and execute plans, and has managed a regional marketing function supporting a sizeable business.  The right candidate will have B2B enterprise software expertise (ideally SaaS/Cloud) and needs to be a team player who knows how to collaborate well, influence, partner and get things done. You can easily balance taking a data driven, analytical approach to marketing with a more creative, innovative approach.  You would be known for strong delivery and getting results with an awareness of ROI. You should have a strong understanding of pipeline creation and management and have strong experience working closely with the Business/Sales organization as a marketing ‘partner’ to the business. 


A Day in The Life Typically Includes:


  • Strategic partnership with the regional General Manager regarding go-to-market strategy. You will then work with your team develop marketing plans to align with this, blending a local go to market approach with the broader international and global marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with peers across marketing functions to roll out and extend Global Campaigns at a regional level, ensuring localization and branding alignment across the region.
  • Collaborate on deep ABM programs for the region and interlocks with Sales.
  • Lead, mentor and coach the regional marketing team; exemplify the positive attributes of being a strong leader, team player and team builder with all related personnel, cross-functional departments and local and global counter parts.
  • Tactical execution of the overall direct marketing efforts: drive lead acquisition and lead nurturing campaigns and track and optimize campaign performance as well as overall ROI to the internal stakeholders.
  • Management and prioritisation of budget investments.
  • Strategically develop and execute field marketing activities to support sales team’s efforts ensuring prioritisation and the appropriate balance of the marketing mix.
  • Engage with sales leadership to present recommendations for short term and long- term plans, aggregated learnings and innovation opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Proven experience of multi-channel B2B software marketing experience, gained within enterprise-level software (ideally SaaS) technology industries. 
  • Experience in managing lead generation campaigns, including events, from conception to completion. We are looking for some with a modern approach to marketing including connected campaigns vs one off tactics.
  • Data-driven results oriented in managing full mix multi-channel buyer-journey marketing campaigns to drive awareness and strong commercial outcomes.
  • Be strategic and see the big picture, combined with excellent prioritisation and execution skills.
  • Budget and project management skills.
  • Excellent oral communication and good writing skills with demonstrable ability to write copy for a range of promotional materials. Fluent in English.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment with flexibility, and ability to adapt to changes in strategy and project plans - reliable, self-motivated with a strong 'can do' attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience of marketing & sales technology Pardot, Demandbase, SFDC is a plus.
