Description & Requirements

The IT Support Specialist, Associate will support end users with laptop hardware, general application support, and execution of audio visual operations and support at Infor. The support will include remote assessment and resolution of problems, proper routing and escalation of problems within the IT organization, and in general, a contribution to the successful use of Information Technology.

 

A Day in The Life Typically Includes: 

This role will be based in a company office location.

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems according to company policy
  • Provide technical support to users on laptops, telephone, printers and AV equipment
  • Support multiple internal and SaaS based applications and platforms
  • Participate in projects within various functional areas of IT
  • Use systems analysis techniques while working with customers to provide general or specific applications, systems or solutions to best meet business specifications and customer needs
  • Analyze and repair of software, hardware and/or business applications incidents
  • Provide quality answers and follow-up to customer in a timely manner

 

What You Will Need:

Required skills:

 

  • Graduate in Information Technology/Computer Science
  • 1-2 years of IT support experience on laptops, desktops, and AV equipment
  • Good knowledge and experience of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS
  • Installing & Supporting printers
  • Knowledge of network architectures and data communication protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with IT ticketing tool
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles
  • Excellent customer service

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge on Active directory, Office 365, Linux, Cloud Technologies, Virtualization
  • Experience Windows OS, Linux Platform, All General applications like MS Office, Adobe, and VPN. in installing and supporting
  • Video production, VoiP, and UC-conferencing experience a plus
