Description & Requirements

The Talent Manager reports into the regional Practice VP and manages a team of consultants with the main focus of driving Utilization, Profitability and Customer Satisfaction, through the lens of people management.
The role supports the implementation & Delivery of associated business plans & metrics, in partnership with practice leads and project directors.
Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the region. Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.

Your Responsibilities include:
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of consultants, developers, and other technical staff.
  • Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing and selecting candidates, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
  • Understanding business and market needs, current and future activity, and assessing forecast and pipeline. Ensures customer success through understanding upcoming demand and future needs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create improvement plans by applying and monitoring people initiatives like RR&Es, 360s, talent and performance reviews etc. Proactively track, monitor and performance manage utilization rates of consultants, reviewing scheduling versus actual to understand any variations.
  • Identify training needs and professional development opportunities for team members, provide resources or opportunities for skill enhancement in collaboration with Enablement, Skills Transformation, Industry Leads.
  • Address and resolve conflicts or issues within the team promptly and effectively.
  • Manage and engage as primary point of contact with different stakeholders like Practice and Delivery Management, Project and Resource Management, maintaining regular communication to understand their needs and address any concerns as well as to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify inefficiencies within the team or projects and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure the team effectively uses project management and collaboration tools.
  • Contribute to the strategic vision and direction of the consulting team and align team goals with Infor’s strategic objectives.
  • Promote and exemplify the company's core values, culture and strategy within the team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to propose new ideas and solutions.
  • Organize team-building activities and events to strengthen team cohesion and morale.
Knowledge and Skills, you bring to the organization:
  • Software consulting / services delivery / project management experience in delivering ERP implementation projects. Knowledge of Infor’s IDM methodology is a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a Consulting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations in an international organization.
  • Proven record of being a mentor to employees, foster their professional growth and ability to manage different personalities.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Skill in allocating resources efficiently to meet both educational goals of the organization as well as project deadlines and client expectations.
  • Proven ability to perform and adopt effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment
  • Knowledge of applicable industry terminology and practices
  • Ability to manage business and utilization forecast and reflect a true position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel regionally, nationally and internationally as required
