Description & Requirements

As a Science Solution Manager you are responsible for helping to define the innovation strategy for Infor’s customers. We are a diverse, well-integrated, and customer-focused team of data scientists, data engineers, solution architects, application developers, and science solution managers with an ambitious vision to enable enterprise Machine Learning (ML) for all Infor customers across multiple industries and segments.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Lead conversations with customers to identify potential problems that can be solved using machine learning, optimization or other analytical approaches.
  • Capture, document and prioritize requirements from customers (internal and external) by collaborating with the solution architect.
  • Act as subject matter on all data science systems and technologies to non-technical stakeholders
  • Translate business projects to completion by working with science and engineering teams while providing project management support.
  • Communicate technical concepts and challenges in machine learning space to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Define, measure, create business intelligence reports and communicate key metrics for team progress and value delivered.
  • Participate in the development process including activities such as sprint reviews, science testing, user acceptance testing, etc.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with supply chain operations.
  • Experience in defining, developing story maps, gathering requirements, building workflows and preparing roadmaps.
  • Experience implementing analytics data driven software solutions.
  • Experience presenting to various audiences with a proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience working on analytics and data-related implementations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software industry experience. 
  • Experience working with data software development life cycles.
  • Bachelors (or foreign equivalent) in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Experience and/or certification in agile software development.
  • Experience performing market research and assessments.
  • Experience producing digital marketing assets.
