Description & Requirements

The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving software sales to meet both company and personal quotas. This role focuses on developing marketing plans to generate leads, managing assigned accounts, and understanding customers’ business needs to design tailored strategies. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of ERP products and a high level of independence in executing strategies.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Revenue generation: Focus on ERP solutions as the primary area of sales, with a secondary focus on cross-sell and cross-industry products.

  • Sales Process: Use formal professional selling practices and tools to nurture customer relationships by providing value-added solutions.

  • Strategic Contribution: Contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions regarding marketing and selling strategies.

  • Account Management: Serve as the key point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Forecasting & CRM: Maintain an accurate forecast and update opportunities regularly in the CRM system.

Required skills:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.

  • Advanced knowledge of software product sales in the (discrete) manufacturing industry. Experience selling ERP would be a plus. 

  • Proven experience managing "Key Accounts" or "Major Accounts" in a sales capacity.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, including Sales, Consulting, Customer Support, Development, and Marketing.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Must be an active networker with a strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.

  • Demonstrated experience in closing new accounts and driving growth.

  • Ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
