Description & Requirements

We are looking for a Senior SQL Server and Postgres Database Administrator to help manage a large enterprise fleet in the cloud.
 
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
 
  • PowerShell and T-SQL programming and Execution
  • SQL Server Database Administration and Performance-Tuning
  • Experience with Postgres Administration and Linux 
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services like RDS/Aurora and experience in Database Migrations from SQL Server to AWS/Aurora is an added advantage.
  • Participation in DevOps related processes
  • Windows O.S. management and Tuning
  • Backup and Recovery tasks
  • Capacity planning
  • Problem Resolution


Basic Qualifications:
  • SQL Server, Microsoft Windows, Postgres & Linux. This includes backups, recovery, and tuning
  • Programming/Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl or other scripting languages
  • T-SQL skills
  • Postgres Administration and Linux Experience
  • Experience in automating database management tasks
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Experience with Storage systems
  • Experience with Networks
