Description & Requirements

The Business Analyst in Data Analytics leverages advanced analytical skills and industry expertise to drive the creation of comprehensive analytic content that supports strategic business initiatives. This role is pivotal in providing deep insights into the efficacy of programs and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and KPIs, and tracking progression towards those goals. By utilizing sophisticated data analysis and interpretation techniques, the  Analyst identifies areas of success and concern, delivering actionable recommendations to enhance customer outcomes. The  Analyst will function as an integral extension of the customer's team, delivering measurable business value and a strong commitment to their success.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Collaborate with customer teams to understand business processes and translate product requests into project scopes and technical requirements
  • Establish and maintain productive partnerships with key stakeholders and customers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Identify new data products and recommend ideas to the business that drive value and improve report usage and function
  • Lead and deliver projects independently and proactively communicate and collaborate across teams
  • Define standard process, best practices and formats for data and visualization
  • Leverage company-standard tools (including Jira) to provide visibility to progression of projects
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights

Required skills:
  • Exceptional requirements gathering, documentation and wireframing skills with experience leading requirements workshops and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment with the ability to effectively interface and present to Executives and senior leadership
  • Creative problem solver and proactive leader, who takes ownership of their projects and drives them to successful completion
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, estimate effort and proactively identify and pursue high-value projects and activities
  • Expert-level data visualization skills including dashboard development experience using Business Intelligence reporting tools
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end data flows from source system to reporting including the desired business outcomes
  • Advanced analytical skills and in-depth business knowledge, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into business insights

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
  • Experience in dashboard design or development experience
  • Experience in working at a Software/SaaS company with working knowledge of marketing, sales, professional services, and customer success business processes
  • Experience as a sales or marketing professional leveraging data and metrics to execute their job function
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality outputs
