Description & Requirements

This position will be responsible for delivering BA's tasks about required regulation updates and product maintenance for the development team that elevates the value of products Anael Finance iSeries.

Position Summary

The Business Analyst analyzes and then provides the product specifications necessary for the development team to carry out their tasks.

This role is also expected to participate in quality assurance and documentation.

Essential Duties

  • Analysis and Description of the specifications necessary for the realization and maintenance of developments/evolutions on existing products,
  • Business Requirements, Business Cases, Use Cases, etc.
  • Respect the commitments made (Estimate, Deadline, workload) and active participation in the Quality Assurance and test procedures.
  • Functional watch on legal developments in accounting and participates in the renewal of the NF accounting software standard
  • Participate in the writing/updating of user manuals and video presentation media for new features.
  • Might be required to participate in customer support and product communication
  • Communicates clearly and professionally orally and in writing with teams, and managers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bac + 4, diploma in accounting and business management,
  • Proven experience as a business analyst within a software development team 
  • at least 5 years in the field of accounting.
  • A solid experience of 5 to 6 years in the functional field of French accounting in line with current legislation (i.e. Finance Law 2024, General Accounting, Analytics, VAT on collection, accounting closure, FEC, etc.), fixed assets management and procurement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of business partners (Yooz, E-Finance, Symtrax, etc.)
  • Technical skills such as SQL and DB2 for IBM i are an advantage, although this is primarily a functional role.
