Description & Requirements

As a Principal Developer Experience Engineer at Infor, you’ll lead the charge in transforming how developers interact with our platform. This role is central to our strategic shift toward API-first engagement and innovation-driven tooling. You’ll work across teams to elevate our developer ecosystem, manage portal operations, and prototype next-generation solutions—including those powered by GenAI. Your leadership will help us deliver high-quality resources, foster technical excellence, and create a developer experience that stands out in the enterprise software space.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes
  • Reviewing and resolving developer portal issues, coordinating with Theneo for improvements and bug fixes.
  • Partnering with engineering teams to enhance API documentation, create code samples, and validate functionality.
  • Prototyping new developer tools and experiences using emerging technologies, including GenAI-assisted development.
  • Mentoring developer relations team members on technical concepts and platform capabilities.
  • Translating complex technical capabilities into developer-friendly resources through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Implementing and testing new features to improve portal functionality.
Basic Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in modern programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with API documentation and testing.
  • Proven track record in building web applications and working with developer documentation systems.
  • Experience managing technical projects and coordinating with external vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in customer-facing content.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with developer portal technologies.
  • Proficiency with GenAI-assisted development tools and workflows.
  • Background in B2B software or enterprise platform development.
  • Experience mentoring technical teams and influencing technical decisions.
  • Knowledge of modern development frameworks and API testing methodologies.
