As an Infor CSD (Infor CloudSuite® Distribution) Business Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive business solutions to our clients using the Infor CSD platform. A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Utilizing knowledge of warehouse logistics theories and practices, as well as experience with various programming languages, package managers, and operating systems.
  • Deliver application training to client teams, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilize Infor CSD.
  • Conduct a thorough business process survey to identify all client processes and data needs that should be addressed within the project scope.
  • Design solutions that align with client business needs, utilizing standard capabilities of Infor CSD and determining the best approach for addressing any gaps.
  • Build and configure solutions based on the design, using iterative prototypes, and testing to validate the effectiveness of the solution.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of data conversions, ensuring a smooth transition of data into Infor CSD.
  • Utilize available toolsets to address reporting, interfaces, and other related needs outside of the core application build.
  • Perform thorough system testing to ensure the solution meets all functional and technical requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Infor CSD applications, providing support to the Project Manager, technical resources, and other project team members.
  • Support clients through the go-live process and play a key role in promoting the adoption of the implemented solution.
  • Participate in active knowledge capture and exchange with Infor Distribution consulting community peers.
  • Contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of assets such as slide decks, templates, and other resources used by consultants during project delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Business Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on implementing Infor CSD or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience with business processes and best practices, particularly within the distribution industry.
  • Experience conducting business process surveys and designing solutions to align with client needs.
  • Can build and configure solutions using Infor CSD or similar ERP systems, utilizing iterative prototyping and testing.
  • Experience with data conversion processes and tools.
  • Experience in addressing reporting, interface, and related needs using available toolsets.
  • System testing skills to ensure the solution meets all requirements.
  • Experience with working independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Information Systems, Finance or a related field.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites as required - 80% Travel.
