Description & Requirements

The Data Engineer will be responsible for development, transformation and ongoing quality management of business data objects sourced from a wide range of internal/external systems with differing storage types.

What You Will Need:
Required Skills:
  • Understanding of data modeling principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in SQL coding, including complex queries, joins, and subqueries.
  • At least a year of hands-on experience using Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Birst, Domo, Qliksense, PowerBI, and Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
  • Ability to develop and optimize stored procedures for data manipulation and transformation.

What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies or working in Sprint-based development teams.
  • Familiarity with modern Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes and tools.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Develop and enhance modeled Data Sets within visualization tools.
  • Collaborate with the Data Analyst team to understand visualization requirements and assist in building visualizations and dashboards that meet business needs.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of published data by implementing appropriate access controls and data protection measures.
