Description & Requirements

As a (Senior) Solution Consultant, you will be working alongside the sales team to understand our prospects and customers' business processes, functional requirements, and value objectives. Defining the solution architecture of the potential customer to provide a process and value-led product demonstration.

Location: Europe, close to an Infor office or working remotely  (France, Spain, Italy, Germany, e.g.).

Customer-facing Infor Solution Consultants must ensure the understanding and delivery of business-specific benefits to fulfil the requirements of their audience.


A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Primary responsibility for supporting the sales process and interacting with prospective customers through a variety of sales cycle activities, including Request for Proposal processes, discovery sessions, executive overviews, scripted and non-scripted solution demonstrations, software labs, follow-up discussions and post-demonstration surveys
  • Work with account executives on sales opportunities, including Defining the solution scope, Designing the account strategy, jointly preparing for prospect interactions.
  • Prepare and demonstrate internal and customer-facing product-based presentations within the Infor CloudSuite solution with a focus on ERP.
  • Lead solution demonstrations to prospects and customers that reinforce solution value at various audience levels, including executives, business users, and stakeholders, and positively influencimg license deal pursuits and customer success
  • Provide answers to product-related questions in a Request for Information (RfI) or a Request for Quotation (RfQ)
  • Transform the Solution Consulting community within Infor. Teamwork and continuous improvement are critical to the success of Solution Consulting. It is incumbent on every SC to contribute to the knowledge and content for the collective team.
  • With the overall Solution Consulting team, participate in shared activities such as marketing events, value engineering engagements, trade shows, and other customer-facing activities, maintaining RFP response repositories, presentation collateral, and demo content
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge about the products and looking to new solutions and concepts to keep your understanding for the relevant business processes and metrics.
  • Ensure passion for every customer engagement and support of your colleagues.

Qualifications: 

  • Strong rhetoric capabilities and presentation skills.
  • Broad understanding of business practices and processes within relevant industries like
  • Industrial manufacturing knowledge combined with experience in ERP presales or implementation in manufacturing.
  • Familiar with end-to-end business process with a focus on ERP related solutions.
  • Willingness to travel – nationally and internationally (50%)
  • Native French speakers, fluent in English verbally and written, and other additional language capabilities are also welcome as German, Italian,...
  • Commitment to self-learning and regular training.
