Description & Requirements

Infor is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will primarily work with Infor’s Mongoose development framework, a .Net based IDE with full coding and development capabilities. You will also get the opportunity to write clean, efficient code; collaborate with team members; and troubleshoot software issues.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to understand project requirements, review code, and discuss design strategies
  • Write, test, and debug clean, efficient code within Infor’s Mongoose development framework, contributing to high-quality, reliable software solutions
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new features and enhancements to meet evolving client needs and improve the overall software experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues by identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes to ensure system stability and performance
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions, staying updated on best practices and emerging technologies
  • Travel twice a year to present project demos and updates to internal teams, showcasing recent work and discussing future development goals

Basic Qualifications:
  • Programming experience with .Net or Angular/Typescript
  • Previous experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.)
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or software engineering
  • Programming experience with JavaScript or HTML
  • Previous experience with Infor Mongoose
  • Previous experience with Jira
  • Previous experience with GitHub
