Description & Requirements

We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade cloud applications. You will be part of a team that will work on designing and developing new features or enhancements to a financial analysis and reporting solution with the goal of aiding businesses to make smart choices.
You will be responsible for creating high-quality software that to satisfy business needs. You must ensure that it adheres to industry standards and is aligned to technical specifications provided by the architects.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes: 


  • Design, develop, and maintain applications, ensuring the software system is scalable, maintainable, and secure by making high-level design choices and setting technical standards for the project.
  • Collaborate with other software engineers, providing technical guidance and sharing knowledge on best practices and architectural principles.. 
  • Identifying and addressing potential technical risks and challenges involves proactively assessing the system's architecture to identify any potential issues and devising strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ability to understand the software vision and plan its future directions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features, ensuring that the software architecture aligns with the project's objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

Required skills:

  • Experience in using Java EE
  • Experience in Spring Framework and ORM
  • Experience in HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience in SQL Server
  • Experience in Version Control
  • Experience in dependency management such as Maven is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Knowledge in developing applications in the cloud such as AWS is a plus
  • Knowledge in front-end solutions such as JSPs and Thyme Leaf is preferred.
  • Knowledge in using Linux OS is a plus
