Description & Requirements

The Demo Services and Content Delivery Software Engineer helps enable new sales by enhancing standard products and developing customized solutions to meet specific requirements for demonstrations and standard products. Our technical knowledge (M3 extensibility tools, Landmark, and Infor OS ) combined with presales and product development experience allows us to quickly understand prospect requirements and build custom demo solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of programming background/experience (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 as well as common technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, JQuery, Bootstrap and GIT)
  • Work experience includes development of new program or significantly large feature enhancement, maintenance and involvement on database design/structure changes
  • Experience with web standards; browser capabilities; mobile device capabilities and limitations; best-practice development techniques
  • Problem solving skills
  • Willing to learn and work on Proprietary Language
  • Willing to participate on on-call support as necessary during regular, weekend or holidays or deployments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • We operate in a global environment and support presales globally. You may be required to work odd hours on occasion to support our people in other geographic locations

  • Ability to adapt quickly and understand directions and objectives
  • Ability to communicate and participate during meetings and validations with US/EMEA counterparts and willingness to attend the meetings/reviews which might be scheduled early in the morning or late night
  • Knowledge in UX (User Experience) or Angular
  • Industry and Domain Expertise in ERP
  • Able to work with tight deadlines/under pressure
  • Self-organized and proactive (able to complete the deliverables in a timely manner)
  • Can cope with self-paced trainings and requires minimal supervision

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Gain a full understanding of all technical aspects of Infor products in the assigned area of functional presales support
  • Working closely with Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Engineers in providing technical assistance of feasibility of solution from a technical standpoint and in providing insights in the testing coverage.
  • Improving demo capabilities by collecting, designing, developing, implementing, and communicating key features to ensure best possible demonstrations.
  • Fixes any reported bugs while complying with the SDLC processes and coding standards.
  • Conducts unit testing, peer review, impact analysis of code changes, root cause analysis and other standard processes in the SDLC.
  • Conducting impact analysis for newly code changes to be introduced in the application.
  • Coordinates with the different stakeholders (Solution Consulting, Product Teams, GDIS, etc.)
  • Providing informal training on solutions and procedures delivered by the group
  • Capability to develop proof-of-concept solutions
