Description & Requirements

The Sr. Field Marketing Manager will lead, create, manage and execute the marketing plan for Manufacturing industries in North America, including Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Food & Beverage, Fashion, Distribution.

This role is critical in reaching the marketing pipeline goals, aligned to the sales revenue targets. This person will be responsible for working cross-functionally with sales, business development, strategy, partners, and central marketing teams to build and execute persona-centric integrated marketing programs for net new business and for expanded business within our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strategic, results-driven mindset with a proven ability to maintain successful relationships with sales and translate business needs to marketing programs and pipeline. They are resourceful inside and outside the company, committed to continuous improvement, and passionate about demand generation.

 

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Strategic partnership with the North America Manufacturing leadership team to develop and implement marketing plans, blending a local go to market approach with the broader corporate marketing strategy.
  • Identify the most effective marketing messages, value proposition, materials, channels, and calls-to-action for the line of business and develop a marketing mix designed to meet our growth goals.
  • Work with internal creative, digital, events and operations teams on the execution of strategic marketing campaigns across a broad mix of tactics that achieve SAO and pipeline goals, including, but not limited to paid search, paid and organic social, email, virtual and in-person events, webinars, account-based marketing, vendor evaluation sites.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, SOW (scope of work), budget.
  • Work efficiently to define, extract and synthesize available data and insights, to drive strategic engagement and planning, track and measure ROI.
  • Engage with sales teams to present recommendations for short term and long- term plans, aggregated learnings and innovation opportunities.
  • Deliver regular communications to the field regarding program information, updates, expected involvement and access to promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the global PR, AR and communications teams.
  • Work with key alliance partners and SIs to develop and execute co-marketing plans.
  • Interlock with Business Development team on campaign BDR enablement and feedback, lead follow up, MQL forecasting and tracking of results.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing a a team of multi-channel B2B software marketing team members, gained within enterprise-level software technology industries. 
  • Experience in developing and leading generation campaigns, including events, from conception to completion; approach to marketing includes connected campaigns vs one off tactics.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry related marketing.
  • Budget and project management skills.
  • Experience of marketing & sales technology – i.e. Salesforce and Demandbase.
  • Experience presenting to C-level audience. 
  • Some travel will be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the SaaS/software industry.
  • SFDC, Pardot, ON24, ClickUp, DOMO, Demandbase experience.
