Infor Decision Analytics and Science (IDeAS) team is responsible for setting the innovation strategy at Infor. We are a diverse, well-integrated, value driven and customer-focused team of data scientists, data engineers, solution architects, application developers, and science solution managers with an ambitious vision to enable enterprise Machine Learning (ML) for all Infor customers across multiple industries and segments.
As a Science Solution Manager, you will define the vision for data product assets by strategically and analytically addressing business, product, and technical challenges to be able to transform quickly in evolving markets, dynamic competitive environments and changing technological landscapes. Leveraging a strong strategic and analytical background, you will collaborate with all stakeholders (executives, sales, marketing, engineers, scientists, other product teams, and external customers) to drive roadmaps and execution of AI/ML implementations, aligning business value with technical solutions for offerings’ templatizing and configuration, customer adoption and expansion.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Research, document, and communicate solution value propositions
- Produce qualitative and quantitative industry business cases
- Publish and maintain roadmaps
- Build and maintain product roadmaps
- Perform user story grooming
- Support developers building reusable solution by following system design principles and participate in architecture review discussions
- Enable sales/consulting team with successful prospect demos.
- Support key partner firms in enablement, sales, and marketing activities
- Assist in center of excellence initiative
- Drive sales enablement initiatives
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in implementing analytics data driven software solutions.
- Demonstrated real-world experience in performing market analysis, creating roadmap and driving complex ambiguous requirements to finish line.
- Strong analytical skills and good working knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning, and data concepts.
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Effective in coordination, prioritization and tradeoff decisions.
- Ability to come up and perform data storytelling.
- Highly organized self-starter with a passion for analytics and data-related implementations.
- Understanding of data software development life cycles.
- Educational background in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of equipment maintenance, knowledge graph and/or IoT.
- Track record of progressive responsibilities and process ownership
- Experience effectively presenting to Leadership teams
- Experience and/or certification in agile software development.
- Expertise in performing market research and assessments.
- Competency in producing digital marketing assets.
- Enjoy working with multiple levels and teams across organizations (engineering/research, product, sales, and marketing teams) and externally (prospects, customers, partners)
- A proven desire to continue learning to stay ahead in competitive environments and changing technological landscapes.
- Proficiency in any one of the following Python, R, SQL.
