Description & Requirements

You’ll be delivering features across our SaaS platform built on the Microsoft .NET 8 and Angular stack as well as supporting a crucial migration project to the AWS stack. The focus for this role is primarily back-end with some exposure to Angular, so you will be comfortable working on the .NET 8 back-end as well as performing occasional maintenance on the UI

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
 

  • Comfortable working with an established agile process to scope, define and do your part in delivering great features and infrastructure
  • Passionate about excellent technology delivery, from best practice to contributing to the technical roadmap
  • Keen to understand our products, our market, and our clients
  • Technically proficient. An exceptional problem solver with great communication skills
  • Able to spot opportunities to optimise and improve our software, both in terms of technology and UX
  • Confident translating designs into the code that will produce visual elements of the application
  • Able to demonstrate hands-on experience in using current trends and best practices in architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability
  • Keen eye for UI/UX detail. Able to work with the UI/UX designer if necessary to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, taking an active role in defining how the application looks, as well as how it works.


Required Skills:

  • Microsoft.NET / Angular shop, with a platform including:
  • C# .NET8 application with SQL Server backend
  • Git for source control
  • AWS EKS
  • Event based architecture built around SNS topics, SQS queues
  • GitLab runners
  • Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes
  • Angular front-end systems and other JavaScript frameworks


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure cloud systems, including technologies like App services and/or Azure functions
  • Azure functions, Azure services
  • Azure SQL Server, Postgres for data storage
  • Azure container apps
  • Octopus Deploy or similar CI/CD toolsets
