Description & Requirements

The primary role of the Global Demo Innovation Services Team is to help enable new sales by enhancing standard products and creating customized solutions to meet specific requirements for demonstrations. Our technical knowledge combined with presales and product development experience allows us to quickly understand prospect requirements and build custom demo solutions.


JOB SUMMARY:

Are you able to quickly switch between several high priority tasks while maintaining focus? We are expanding our Global Demo Innovation Services Team at Infor.

For this position we are seeking a highly motivated individual that will be working directly with presales (Solution Consultants) to come up with new innovative ways of selling our software. You will be responsible for understanding their business requirements, figuring out the best way to meet these requirements and finally to create the demo solution (I.e. functional prototype). This is done in close collaboration with the solution consultant and since we are providing a service it is important that you like working with people. This is a non-prospect/customer facing position.

To be successful in the Demo Services Team you also need a can-do attitude, a strong inner drive and have a genuine love of technology. We need you to be a team player, but you will get the opportunity to shine as well.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gain a complete understanding of all technical aspects of Infor products in assigned areas.
  • Improving demo capabilities by designing, implementing, and communicating key features to ensure best possible demonstrations.
  • Conceptualize, design, and build demo solutions with guidance from technical and functional solution consultants.
  • Provide informal training and skill-transfer sessions on solutions and procedures delivered by the group.
  • Ability to adopt new technologies to drive innovation and improvement of Infor products.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer science or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of modern web technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Acting as point of contact and focal point for solution consultants, both proactively and in support situations.
  • Being capable of developing proof-of-concept demo solutions (I.e. functional prototypes).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for innovative technologies.
  • Very good organizational, analytical, and communications skills.
  • Curiosity, willingness, and ability to continuously learn new areas.
  • Self-starter with strong work ethics and the ability to work independently as well as in teams.
  • Very good Swedish and English, written and spoken.
  • Service minded.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • 3-5 years of experience from Solution and Business Consulting.
  • Experience working with Generative AI as a tool throughout the development and documentation cycle.
  • Experience working with Infor technology / extensibility tools.

  • We support presales globally. You may be required to work odd hours on occasion to support our people in other geographic locations.
