Are you a newly graduated or junior Software Engineer looking for challenging programming tasks? We are looking for Associate Software Engineers to join our Infor LN Business Application Development team in our Utrecht office.

In this position, you will get the opportunity to understand the technology behind a modern cloud solution. Our in-house product, Infor LN is one of the leading ERP solutions designed for the Manufacturing industry. Many of our customers operate in the Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Defense industries.


The team works in a hybrid model so you will be able to work from home and the office with flexibility. You will join a skilled team of Software Engineers with varied experience levels and skills, and you'll learn software engineering at a scale that is not easily found elsewhere. We are looking for junior and recent Graduates who would like to build a career within back-end development. We do not require knowledge of any specific programming language as training and mentoring will be provided from day one. Our Software Engineers are working on our own developed in-house language which is most comparable to C programming language.


You will be developing new features and improving the existing functionality of Infor LN. This directly impacts our end-users which are Infor customers worldwide. Alongside building technical skills you will grow an understanding of business processes and ways to optimize these processes within a Manufacturing environment.


The daily responsibilities of the Software Engineer Associate consist of:

  • Maintaining and developing high-quality software
  • Performing validation and verification testing
  • Development of automated tests
  • Maintenance of existing versions and releases to support customers.
  • Cooperating with peers such as Business Analysts, Product Architects, and other Software Engineers

You're a fit for the role if you identify with one or more of the below characteristics:

  • You have strong analytical skills and a clear focus on quality.
  • You are eager to learn more about business processes in companies. For example, in finance, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain
  • You have a background in fields such as Computer Science, IT, mathematics, physics, or financials.
  • You have recently graduated from HBO (College) or University
  • You are fluent in English written and verbal, and Dutch is welcome.

*ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is the integrated management of main business processes, often in real-time and mediated by software and technology. ERP is usually referred to as a category of business management software —typically a suite of integrated applications — that an organization can use to collect, store, manage, and interpret data from their various business activities.

The program duration is 12 months and consists of both training in our academy and working on projects to provide you with broad hands-on experience to accelerate your career in consulting. This will give you a solid foundation in running innovative local and global Infor projects from both an IT and a business perspective in several key business areas.
