As the Delivery Executive (DE) for Infor’s largest, most complex and strategic projects, the DE will be responsible for 
the end to end success of large, global, highly complex projects, including co-development projects

  • engagement ownership that is focused on successful delivery, customer retention and customer reference-ability
  • owning the project relationship for the engagement - this role is the primary contact for any major decision for the Infor delivery teams and the customer
  • serving as liaison between Infor and Infor’s customer in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met, including all project milestones, budgets and customer inquiries
To be successful, the candidate must have the necessary leadership experience, demeanor, emotional intelligence, communication abilities and business acumen. The right person for this role will be able to communicate effectively at the executive level, as well as move up and down the value chain of the customer organization, including navigating tough conversations and challenging personalities with integrity, respect, and a blend of firmness and flexibility that creates a positive working environment while enforcing company policies and goals. To be successful, the candidate will need to build a strong team culture to ensure alignment on approach to challenges as well as solutions.



Your Responsibilities Include

Leadership, strategic vision, willingness to be hands-on and an ability to innovate and collaborate with all levels of Infor and the customer organization are keys to successfully executing on the end-to-end deployment. This role is focused on delivery and on presales and deal structuring.
  • Owns the integrated project plan and is responsible for the oversight and execution
  • Builds relationships with existing customers to ensure that they are engaged and getting the most value from Infor services
  • Engage and partner with C- Level executives and conduct customer meetings. Understand customer direction, anticipate and resolve issues, become the trusted advisor to the customer on engagement direction and management
  • Partner with Sales Executives, Regional Leads, Customer Partners, Development, and other Infor leadership to manage customer relationships
  • Work with sales, architects, services and others to set scope, staffing and organization aspects of new engagements. Work with all involved to reorganize and revise staffing and organization as needed
  • Provides oversight and guidance for all delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Perform ongoing analysis and review of engagement(s) and one to ones with key internal and external stakeholders to assess engagement and team health and then work with rest of PM team to make any needed changes/improvements
Relationship Management
  • Proactive communication with Infor, partner, and customer executives
  • Primary point of contact for delivery teams
  • Partner with the delivery, sales, development, cloud operations, partners, and other teams to ensure project & solution direction
  • Continuously improve customer engagement and ensure customer success
  • Focus on successful delivery, customer retention and customer reference-ability
Governance
  • Review status reports and provide feedback with project management team on a periodic cadence
  • Periodic one on ones with PMs, architects, and leads to get detail overview of issues/risks/staffing and escalations
  • Participate in team PM meetings and customer meetings as appropriate
  • Participate in status reporting with customer
  • Present Steering committee and other customer executive meetings
  • Make decisions in critical risk and issue meetings
  • Present account status to Infor executives
  • Drive finance of the account(s)
  • Own Scope, schedule and budget
  • Primary leader in escalation mitigations and recoveries
Sales Cycle
  • Identify and formulate new opportunities with customer
  • Oversee the formulation of delivery solution and scope and engaged in creation of contracts
  • Understand, review and approve staffing plan, budget, and schedule for proposed work
  • Lead the negotiations with customer, in cooperation with Sales and Services
Financials
  • Own and be accountable for the Profit & Loss (P&L) and Margin of all accounts
  • Ensure that the commercial status of the accounts are on target
  • Review and approve staffing plan and staffing changes
  • Review and approve project financials on a weekly basis
  • Review and approve the weekly financial forecasts
  • Ensure Project financials are on target

Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization
  • Significant and extensive professional services experience for an enterprise software company, ideally a cloud applications business or a systems integration consultancy firm
  • Strong track record of managing and successfully delivering professional service engagements, multi-million dollars programs and projects involving complex cloud solution sets
  • Proven ability to manage successful global custom and/or co-development projects
  • Strong track record of selling consulting services and adding value in the sales process
  • Strong influencing and persuasion skills in order to operate successfully in a matrixed organisation
  • Able to work independently but contribute fully as an effective team member
  • Adapting communication style and methods in response to varying individuals and diverse situations
  • Tackling conflict situations assertively and encouraging those involved to work together to reach solutions
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple functions, projects, priorities and time pressure
  • Ability to manage business transformation
