The candidate will be an internal advisor to Infor development teams driving adoption and standardization of the Birst platform. This person will create consultative relationships with other Infor teams, and provide platform expertise and best practices that will assist them in reaching their business goals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about business intelligence and is able to approach complex problems in an organized and detail-oriented manner.
Essential Duties:
• Drive engagement with Birst tools and services through ongoing weekly calls and daily interactions in order to provide customer-specific recommendations that follow platform best practices and standards
• Design, develop, test, and analyze business solutions utilizing the Birst platform to determine standards and best practices
• Provide Birst tool expertise to internal teams to advise on key features and functionality that will allow teams to meet business objectives
• Communicate effectively and proactively with internal stakeholders to understand ongoing efforts, and changes to their Business Intelligence program that could impact business value
• Understand and exhibit domain expertise in data modeling, report development, data integration, data transformation, and Business Intelligence industry best practices
• Work with Data Management Teams to build efficient data pipelines that produce performant dimensional models
• Understand the full Birst product suite, features and benefits, and competitive position in order to best position Birst based on customer business needs
• Collaborate cross-functionally in pursuit of problem resolution in order to identify issues and increase business value
Basic Qualification:
• 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Birst, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Microstrategy
• Experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial company with an IT or SaaS background
• Advanced query and SQL skills
• Experience with data modeling and architecture in an analytics environment
• Strong data analytics skills, ability to identify data discrepancies, irregularities, trends, and patterns
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills and experience
Preferred Qualification:
• Experience using Birst highly preferred
• Experience working with business process owners developing or driving analysis of information through utilization of reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Experience working with ERP and Financial Planning tools
• Ability to take leadership of issues and drive them to closure
• Ability to adapt and excel in an ever-changing industry and environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems / Business or equivalent experience in the Business Intelligence realm of reporting and data analytics
• Experience using Generative AI within Analytics a big plus
