Infor Decision Analytics and Science (IDeAS) team is responsible for setting the innovation strategy at Infor. We are a diverse, well-integrated, value driven and customer-focused team of data scientists, data engineers, solution architects, application developers, and science solution managers with an ambitious vision to enable enterprise Machine Learning (ML) for all Infor customers across multiple industries and segments. 

As a Sr Development Project Manager in IDEAS, you will serve as a leader between technical teams and stakeholders to deliver complex, data-centric projects. Collaborating with Science Solution Manager, Data Scientist and ML engineers to define product release scope, track and report progress and keep the release train marching forward with timely releases. This role will require strong technical expertise, organization skills and passion for AI/ML and data related project. Individual will have a high agency mindset balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution to promote decision analytics across industries and drive innovation. 

• Conduct Agile Ceremonies: Instill a culture of ‘Done’ using agile mechanism such as standup meetings to address technical blockers, sprint demos to create a feedback loop between development and product management and keeping the team on track with release objectives & timeline.
• Technical Stakeholder Communication: Engage with various stakeholders, including product managers, developers, data scientists, and other Infor ERP teams, to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding technical objectives and timelines.
• Release Plans: Build & maintain project plans and timelines closely collaborating with product manager and technical leads. Recalibrate the release plans in a data driven to maximize outcomes.
• Technical Risk Management: Conduct technical risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues that could impact release delivery.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed release documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and meeting minutes.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to ensure seamless collaboration and address any technical interdependencies.
• Progress Tracking and Metrics: Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring that the project stays on track, using technical metrics and release KPIs.
• Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Address any technical issues or conflicts that arise, working to find effective solutions and keep the project moving forward.

Basic Qualifications:

• Educational background in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in technical project management, managing at least 4-5 products.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML and data-related technologies.
• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
• Working experience and/or certification in agile software development.
• Strong experience with JIRA project management tool.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Educational background in Business Administration, Operations Research, Data Analytics or a related discipline from an accredited university.
• Experience in technical project management, particularly in AI/ML or data-centric projects.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in AI/ML and data analytics.
• Proficiency in any one of the following Python, R, SQL.
